The range

Every opening in the house, properly screened

Doors, windows, patios and the awkward ones nobody else wants to quote. Each screen is built to the measured opening, not cut down from a stock size.

Most popular Hinged security screen door in a charcoal frame over a timber front door

Hinged Security Doors

The classic front door upgrade. A stainless steel mesh security door built to your opening, with a three point lock and a frame that…

Sliding security screen door on a patio opening, partly open onto a timber deck

Sliding Security Doors

For patio and balcony openings. Rolls smoothly on stainless rollers, locks solidly, and lets the sea breeze through without the flies.

Wide openings

Stacker & Bifold Screens

Big openings, fully screened. Multi panel security screens that fold or stack away so your indoor outdoor flow stays exactly that.

Matched pair of security screen doors over French doors in a Sydney terrace

French Door Screens

A pair of security screen doors that mirror your French doors, with a concealed astragal so the look stays symmetrical.

Best value Fixed security screens sitting flush in the window reveals of a modern home

Fixed Window Screens

The most cost effective way to secure a whole house. Fixed security screens on every accessible window, all keyed to the same colour.

Why it holds

The mesh is not the clever part. The clamp is.

Almost every cheap security screen fails the same way: the mesh gets peeled out of the frame at the edge. Every 613 Living screen clamps its stainless steel mesh into the frame with a continuous row of screws, so an impact is absorbed and spread across the whole screen instead of tearing the perimeter open.

  • Mesh is mechanically screw clamped, never glued or pressure fitted
  • High tensile 304 structural stainless steel mesh
  • Built to resist impact, jemmy, knife and pull attacks
  • Shades your glass, cutting summer heat and UV fade
  • Custom made in Australia to your measured openings

Choose your grade

Four 613 Living ranges. We will tell you honestly which one you need.

Most Sydney homes do not need the top of the range on every opening. A common recommendation is a higher grade on the front door and the accessible ground floor windows, and the benchmark range everywhere else.

613 Core

The benchmark

Our everyday range. High tensile 304 structural stainless steel mesh, mechanically clamped into a powder coated aluminium frame.

  • High tensile 304 stainless mesh
  • Screw clamped mesh retention
  • Widest colour range
  • Best value per opening

613 Slimline

Cleaner sightlines

The same security engineering in a reduced frame profile. The pick when the screen has to look like it was always part of the house.

  • Reduced frame profile
  • Cleaner architectural lines
  • Ideal for street facing openings
  • Full security performance retained

613 Ultra

Big openings

Heavier sections and upgraded hardware for oversized spans, stackers and demanding architectural openings.

  • Handles oversized openings
  • Reinforced rails and interlocks
  • Architect specified projects
  • Premium hardware set

613 Guardian

Maximum security

Our strongest build, with upgraded locking and reinforcement for high risk locations and high value homes.

  • Our heaviest duty construction
  • Upgraded multi point locking
  • For high risk and high value homes
  • Documentation for your insurer
How it works

Four steps, about three weeks, no surprises

STEP 01

On-site measure

We come to you, measure every opening properly, and point out which ones are the actual security risk. Free, and we will tell you if you do not need something.

STEP 02

Itemised quote

Priced opening by opening with the range and colour spelled out, so you can compare it line for line against anyone else and stage the work if you want to.

STEP 03

Australian manufacture

Your screens are built to your measurements in Australia, powder-coated in your chosen colour, and quality-checked before they leave.

STEP 04

Licensed installation

Our own installers fit them, not a subcontractor we met last week. We clean up, walk you through the locks and hand over your warranty paperwork.

More than security

You will notice four of these in the first week

Sleep with the doors open

The single most common thing people tell us afterwards. Cross-ventilation through a screened house on a February night, with the doors locked.

No mozzies, no flies

The mesh keeps insects out at the same time it keeps intruders out. Sydney summers get considerably more pleasant.

Cooler rooms, less fading

The stainless mesh shades your glass and stops a real share of heat and UV before it enters the room. West facing rooms stop being unusable at 4pm.

The view stays the view

No bars, no diamond grille, no prison aesthetic. From inside your eye focuses past the mesh and it effectively disappears.

Insurers take notice

Keep the documentation we hand over. Some insurers adjust premiums once a home is properly screened. It is worth a phone call.

Ember and storm protection

The same screens that stop intruders also catch wind-borne embers and debris, which matters on the Sydney fringe.

What Sydney says

Reviews from real installs

We had six windows and the front door done. The team measured on a Tuesday and installed three weeks later, on time, no mess. You genuinely cannot see the screens from the street.

Got three quotes. 613 Living were the only ones who actually walked the house, pointed out which windows were the real risk, and gave us a fire escape option for the kids' rooms without being asked.

Screened the whole balcony. We use it every night now instead of about twice a summer. Should have done it five years ago.

Attempted break in about four months after install. They went at the laundry window and gave up. Screen has a scuff on it. That is the whole story.

Heritage terrace, tricky French doors, and they matched the profile beautifully. The council facing side looks untouched.

Straight answers on pricing, no pressure, no "today only" discount nonsense. Refreshing after the last mob we dealt with.

Quick answers

The questions we get every day

Every screen is made to the measured opening, so there is no honest flat price list. As a rough guide, a hinged front door is usually the largest single item, fixed window screens are the cheapest per opening, and whole of home packages come in well below the sum of the individual quotes. Your measure and quote is free and itemised per opening, so you can stage the work if you would rather do the front of the house first.
High tensile 304 structural stainless steel mesh, mechanically clamped into a powder coated aluminium frame with a continuous row of screws. The clamping is the part that matters: cheap screens hold the mesh with glue or a rubber wedge, and that edge is where they fail. Ask any company quoting you, including us, to show you a corner sample of how the mesh is held before you sign.
Typically two to four weeks from measure to installed, depending on how many openings you have and the colour you choose. We measure on site, confirm the drawings with you, manufacture to those measurements, then install. Standard powder coat colours run faster than custom ones.
Less than people expect. From inside, your eye focuses past the mesh and it largely disappears, much like a flyscreen, but stronger. The mesh does shade your glass, which cuts heat and glare in summer and helps protect floors and furniture from fading. In a Sydney summer that is a benefit rather than a cost.
Yes, and you should plan for it. We recommend fire escape window screens on bedroom windows. They hold the same security rating day to day and release from the inside in seconds without a key. We will flag which openings need them when we measure.
